ABC Key Logger : What is ABC Key Logger Software?

ABC Key Logger, which also goes by the name of ABC KeyLogger and Spyware.ABCKeyLogger, is spyware software, which can be used by people to spy on your computer. The malware is capable of logging the keystrokes, taking screenshots and running covertly in the background without the user’s knowledge. Confidential information such as passwords and credit card numbers are therefore no longer safe.

The only reason why the threat of this spyware is reduced, is due to the fact that the transmission of this spyware requires manual transmission. Therefore, unless the spy has access to your computer, or you yourself accidently activate the spyware, you would probably be safe. But due to the possibility of loss of confidentiality of your computer, it is still recommended to remove the ABC Key Logger.

Removal of the ABC Key Logger can be done in 5 steps:
1. Update the antivirus and antispyware software, which you might have on your computer.
2. Uninstall the software: Do this by going to Start>Control Panel> Add Remove Programs, find the software, which goes by the name of “JthAbcKeyLogger” and remove it.
3. Run scans: run the antivirus and antispyware scans
4: Registry edits: Run “regedit” using the Start>Run option, and navigate to the following key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
Find the value in the right pane which goes by the value:
“ABC”=”%ProgramFiles%\JthABCKeylogger\Keylogger.exe”
and delete it.
5. Remove remnants of the spyware: Delete remaining files and folders which could be related to the spyware generally located in the directory: Program Files\JthAbcKeylogger\

This concludes the cleaning of the ABC Key Logger spyware from your computer. It is recommended that you change your passwords after performing the cleaning.
